Marine Painter - Naval Base San Diego - 1st Shift This role supports high-priority U.S. Navy corrosion mitigation and ship repair projects in San Diego. As a Marine Painter, you will perform shipboard preservation work, including painting, surface preparation, and coating application on active Navy vessels. You will work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, contributing directly to fleet readiness and long-term naval modernization initiati. This is a painting opportunity with Aerotek in San Diego, San Diego County. Interior and exterior painting and surface prep. Painters prep, prime, and coat surfaces, protecting finishes and delivering clean lines for homes and commercial spaces.

What you'll do

  • Prep surfaces — sand, patch, tape, and prime
  • Apply paint, stain, and coatings evenly
  • Protect floors, fixtures, and landscaping
  • Mix and match colors to spec
  • Clean up and maintain equipment
