Maintenance Worker
About this role
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the physical plant and grounds of Cunningham Childrens Home. This role includes general maintenance, equipment upkeep, and vehicle care. You will also assist with setting up for special functions and maintaining the swimming pool. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm, on-call 1 day/week and 1 weekend/month About Us Cunningham is an exemplary child welfare and educational services agency that provides caring support and therapeutic intervention. This is a landscaping and grounds opportunity with Cunningham Children's Home in Urbana, Champaign County. Landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance. Crews mow, trim, plant, and maintain outdoor spaces, keeping properties healthy and attractive year-round.
What you'll do
- Mow, edge, trim, and blow properties
- Plant, mulch, and maintain beds
- Operate mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Install and maintain irrigation
- Remove debris and keep sites tidy
