MAINTENANCE WORKER
About this role
Woodwork on simple jobs, such as fabrication of scaffolds, wall panels, boxes, concrete forms. You will replace damaged parts on a structure and replace vinyl tile. You will install metal roofing panels or sheets of various types, overlapping and staggering edges to. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with U.S. Marine Corps in McBh Kaneohe Bay, HI. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
