Maintenance Technician - LV1
About this role
The primary responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician are to analyze, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment. Utilize test equipment such as VOM meters, oscilloscopes, current clamps, and other diagnostic equipment to accomplish the job. Utilize welders, soldering and brazing equipment, mills, lathes, and other mechanical equipment to affect repairs. May help facility technician run conduit, data, and phone lines as necessary to support production. As. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Plasticard Locktech International in North Las Vegas, Clark County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
