Location: Fredonia Agg KY Job Req ID: 17454 Join our amazing team and contribute as a: Maintenance Technician I ABOUT THE ROLE Maintenance Technician - Level I position is a key position in our rock crushing processing plant; includes monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Ensure that welding and floors for railcars are solid with solid welding skills Understand the site, identifying issues with. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Amrize in Benton, Lowndes County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

What you'll do

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
