About this role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of various equipment (panel benders, presses, CNC laser machines, pin spotters, shears, etc.), machines and building factors. It’s preferred that this position assist with developing and maintaining processes for preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment at each of the 3 facilities located at McDaniel Metals, LLC. Main Shift: 2nd sh. This is a electrical opportunity with McDaniel Metals LLC in Houston, Harris County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
Assist licensed electricians as needed
