Maintenance Technician
About this role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections of our building systems and equipment. This position will include completing preventative maintenance according to established schedules. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues. This position also includes responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, and maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area. ABOUT YOU You are a dependable, skilled Maintenance Tec. This is a electrical opportunity with Jewish Community Center Of Staten Island in Staten Island, New York City. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
