Maintenance Technician
About this role
PBS Facility Service is seeking an experienced and reliable Handyman to join our team and oversee the day-to-day maintenance of building systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in general repairs, preventative maintenance, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. What You Will Do: • Manage daily maintenance and repair activities across the building, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. • Coordinate with contractors and repair crews. This is a events and setup opportunity with PBS Facility Service in White Plains, Westchester County. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.
What you'll do
- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
