Position : Maintenance Technician Reports To: Chief Engineer, Assistant General Manager, General Manager Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician ensures the hotel operates efficiently by maintaining its physical appearance, functionality, and safety standards. This hands-on role is key to providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring facilities are well-maintained, addressing repair needs, and supporting the hotel’s preventative maintenance program. The Maintenance Technician works. This is a events and setup opportunity with Hampton Inn in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.
What you'll do
- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
