About this role
The Maintenance Technician supports production operations by performing preventative mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, and maintaining the facility. Compensation is based on experience and skillset. Candidates may be offered a Maintenance Technician I, II, or III role, depending on experience and qualifications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS For Maintenance Tech I: Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic eq. This is a events and setup opportunity with Canam Steel Corporation in Jacksonville, Duval County. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.

- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
