About this role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. New employees can potentially earn $69k in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 50-hour work week. This includes the base rate, overtime and production bonuses Position will start and train on 1st shift and will move to 3rd shift schedule after training is complete. 1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM 3rd Shift Schedule: Monday- Frida. This is a electrical opportunity with Canam Steel Corporation in Jacksonville, Duval County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
