About this role

The primary focus of the Maintenance Technician is to digital voltmeter Support general maintenance activities weekly 5S duties Operate forklift/ fill out daily forklift ~ Basic knowledge of HVAC systems ~ Strong Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. This is a HVAC opportunity with Quanex in Cambridge, OH. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

What you'll do

  • Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
  • Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
  • Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
  • Communicate repairs clearly to customers
