About this role

Position Overview The maintenance department works closely with production managers to ensure machines are operating effectively, following predictive and preventive maintenance procedures, as well as doing on-the-spot repairs and participating in large projects like machine installation. The maintenance team is also responsible for general facilities, maintenance and repair. Maintenance Electrician 3rd Shift Installs and repairs electrical systems and electrical/electronic components of indust. This is a electrical opportunity with Green Bay Packaging Inc in Parchment, Kalamazoo County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
