MAJOR DUTIES: Performs preventive maintenance work on heating and air-conditioning systems and components, including compressors, control systems, boilers, water heaters, and hot water storage tanks. Maintains electrical wiring and fixture. This is a electrical opportunity with Ware County Government in Waycross, Ware County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
