About this role

Cargill is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, motors, PLCs, and controls on production equipment. You’ll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, read and interpret electrical schematics, and ensure compliance with safety and food manufacturing standards. You will partner closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime, document work in a CMMS, and recomm. This is a electrical opportunity with Cargill in Solms, Comal County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
