Lead Welder
About this role
Maintain a high attention to safety, quality, and productivity in the welding/fabrication area MIG and Stick welding, must know how to use the torch and rosebud operation. Familiar with metals, steel and fabrications. Oversee all the container/Baler repairs. Rebuilding of truck bodies, roll-off containers and front-load containers. instructions on work orders and shop drawings and verify material and work for accuracy Prepare and process all paperwor. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Recycling Services of Florida in Clearwater, Pinellas County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
