A Laborer I usually of basic plumbing (PVC and preventative maintenance on rights of way; cleans drainage ditches and construction projects; , pouring concrete, cleaning hand truck, forklift or similar accompany a truck driver or motor up and delivery of items. This is a plumbing opportunity with Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
