Journeyman HVAC Technician
About this role
Must live in Long Island, NYC, Yonkers or Mt. Vernon. This not a helpers position . We are looking for a HVAC Technician having a minimum of 6-8 years field experience in installing and servicing the following: Oil and gas fired Boiler's, Oil and gas fired Furnaces, Ductless mini split systems. Must have skills: Know how to read electrical schematics & trace wires. Know how to trouble shoot power supply voltages and control circuits. Indepth understanding of refr. This is a electrical opportunity with Taino Mechanical Contractors in Richmond Hill, Queens. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
