Family-owned, Roseville-based Commercial General Contractor is seeking a full time "hands on" Foreman / Carpenter. This is for a long-term employment opportunity. Requirements 5 years of experience in commercial construction, or related industry. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Skills related to commercial construction: understanding architectural & structural drawings specifically related to wood / metal stud framing, and concrete. Standard work day of 8-hours, start. This is a carpentry opportunity with Essel in Roseville, Placer County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

  • Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
  • Measure and cut lumber accurately
  • Read and work from construction drawings
  • Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
  • Ensure level, square, and plumb results
