An employee-owned construction company is seeking skilled Ironworkers to perform safe and precise erection of structural and miscellaneous steel on various projects. This role offers hands-on work in a safety-focused, collaborative environment, with opportunities to develop skills, contribute to team success, and work at heights on complex steel structures. The Role: The Ironworker is responsible for executing steel erection work per project plans, spec. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Iron Sky Recruiting in Tucson, Pima County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

What you'll do

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
