IR Electrician
About this role
ABM Industries is seeking an IR Electrician to support safe, reliable operations across commercial and industrial client facilities. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, perform infrared (IR) thermography to detect faults, and complete preventive and corrective maintenance on panels, motors, and controls. You’ll interpret blueprints, follow NFPA and OSHA safety standards, document work in CMMS systems, and collaborate with facility teams to minimize downtime. This is a electrical opportunity with ABM Industries in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
