About this role

We’re looking for an installer to train directly under the owner. You’ll shadow on jobs to learn the process and gradually take over installs independently. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a growing company. Hours for the position are Monday–Friday (some flexibility depending on project load) Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials Shadow and support on the installation of shades, blinds, and shutters Learn. This is a installation opportunity with Hilco Shutters and Shades, Inc. in Carlsbad, San Diego County. Installation work — fitting, mounting, and setting up equipment or fixtures at customer or job sites. Installers measure, assemble, and verify a clean, working result.

Measure, assemble, and install to spec
Use hand and power tools correctly
Verify installs are level and functional
Communicate clearly with customers
Clean up the site when finished
