We are a large growing mechanical contractor in Louisiana that works on many of Louisiana’s biggest and best HVAC and Plumbing Projects. This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities. We are planning to hire Louisiana’s best and brightest HVAC/Plumbing Superintendent’s in the near future. Responsibilities: Provide a safe work environment and exceed OSHA requirements. Review submittals, change orders, material take offs, and time sheet. This is a plumbing opportunity with Gulfstream Strategic Placements in New Orleans, Orleans Parish. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
