About this role

As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of an HVAC Mechanic is to operate and maintain central HVAC equipment and mechanical systems in the hotel by ensuring the proper functioning of the systems and promptly addressing any issues or repairs that arise. This role follows specified operating procedures and maintains detailed records of equipment operations and is responsible for accurately recording equipment readings, temperatures, pressur. This is a HVAC opportunity with PCH Hotels & Resorts in Birmingham, Jefferson County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

  • Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
  • Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
  • Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
  • Communicate repairs clearly to customers
