About this role

The HVAC/ELECTRICIAN TRADES WORKER is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning/refrigeration systems and equipment and for installing, maintaining, and repairing electric power and lighting systems and related fixtures and equipment. The position also entails general trades work, including but not limited to light plumbing, equipment maintenance, light carpentry work, and transportation of equipment to and from various parks. The HVAC/Electrician Trad. This is a electrical opportunity with NOVA Parks in Burke, Fairfax County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
