About this role
We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician. This role involves performing general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the hotel is safe, clean, and functional for guests and staff. Compensation: $17 - $20 Essential Responsibilities: Address guest and staff maintenance concerns promptly. Perform routine inspections of equipment, lights, and common areas. Complete daily maintenance tasks, including minor plumbi. This is a plumbing opportunity with Hampton Inn St. Louis-Columbia in Columbia, Monroe County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
