About this role

General Laborer - $20-$21/hr We're looking for a hardworking General Laborer/fabrication shop helper to join our fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn different areas of manufacturing and fabrication. You'll support production by helping move materials, assisting machine operators and welders, and keeping the shop organized and running smoothly. What You'll Do Assist machine operators and welders with daily production tasks. Load. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Aerotek in Olathe, Johnson County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
