General Construction Superintendent
About this role
NOT Residential The General Superintendent is a senior management role responsible for leading J2 Solutions' superintendent team, owning project schedule performance, and helping shield the Vice President of Operations from the majority of day-to-day jobsite challenges. This position exists to improve consistency, accountability, and execution across all active projects by proactively monitoring field operations, coaching superintendents, intervening ear. This is a construction opportunity with J2 Solutions Inc. in Port Charlotte, Charlotte County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
