About this role

Pay Rate: $20.58 per hour Schedule: Mon - Fri 5pm - 1:30am The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading, unloading, staging, scanning, and movement of freight. As certified forklift operators within the operation, they provide safe, accurate, and efficient loading, unloading, movement, and documentation of cargo/freight within a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment, directly contributing to productivity, workfl. This is a warehouse and logistics opportunity with Forward Air in Des Plaines, Cook County. Warehouse, picking, packing, and material handling. Associates move inventory, fulfill orders, and keep the floor organized and safe, often operating forklifts or pallet jacks.

  • Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately
  • Load and unload trucks and pallets
  • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified)
  • Scan and track inventory
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized
