About this role

Field Technician As an Engineering Construction Materials Field Technician, you will be exposed to a variety of responsibilities. You will work independently on construction sites, performing quality control testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials. Additionally, you will complete and submit daily reports related to your observations and testing activities. Responsibilities Perform quality control testing of concrete. This is a construction opportunity with Actalent in Winchester, Drew County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
  • Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
  • Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
