About this role
The Facility Maintenance Repair I position is responsible for performing hands-on maintenance and repair activities to support safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, installations, and general facility upkeep while ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial equipment. This is a events and setup opportunity with Clean Harbors in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.
What you'll do
- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
