General Summary Under general direction, individuals assigned to this position are responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance for all District transit facilities. Assigned duties may include skilled and semi-skilled work in: Concrete & Masonry; electrical; finish carpentry; Fire & Life Safety Systems; HVAC; Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems; industrial controls; irrigation; mobile & fixed shop equipment; painting; plumbing; roofing systems, and welding. This position monitors. This is a electrical opportunity with LTD Lane Transit District in Springfield, Lane County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
