About this role

Direct Electric Services is an established commercial electrical contractor looking for seasoned apprentices, foremen, and mechanics to join our team of professionals. We perform commercial work in and around the Washington DC metro area. Our Electricians are required to possess the following: Maintain current Journeyman electrician's license or four years of an approved apprenticeship program with a minimum of 5 years of documented on the job training. Be profic. This is a electrical opportunity with Direct Electric Services in Washington, Washington, D.C.. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
Assist licensed electricians as needed
