About this role

Clean Harbors in Houston, TX location is looking for a Container Mechanic . As a Container Mechanic you will be responsible for Sanding,prepwork,inspecting, fabricating, cutting, welding, patching tarps or replacing tarps on the containers at Clean Harbors locations and our customer locations such as refineries. This position will require logging all the necessary entries of time and materials into an electronic repair order system. The company will provide welding equipment and service truck. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Clean Harbors in Usps Official, Harris County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
