About this role
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to provide owner-side field leadership for a cargo facility relocation project at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This role will oversee day-to-day construction activities in an active airport environment, with responsibility for contractor coordination, field progress, safety, quality, schedule performance, operational impacts, commissioning, turnover, and closeout. The successful candidate will be comfortable indep. This is a construction opportunity with PMA Consultants Careers in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
