Position at VSS International, Inc. "OUR PEOPLE ARE OUR STRATEGY" VSS International, Inc. is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our Slurry Seal and Chip Seal road construction crews for a temporary project located in the Santa Cruz County area and is contigent upon winning the job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with slurry seal and chip seal operations on roadways Operate or support equipment such as slurry trucks, chip spreaders, and related tools P. This is a construction opportunity with Reed Family Companies in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
