Construction Engineer Location: Cleveland Area A well-established heavy civil contractor in the Cleveland area is seeking a Construction Engineer to support in-house project design, temporary works engineering, and field implementation. This role works closely with the Construction Design Engineer (CDE) to develop working drawings, engineering plans, and construction support documents for a variety of complex civil and structural projects. Key Responsibilities • Support the design and developme. This is a construction opportunity with Gpac in Erie, Erie County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
  • Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
  • Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
