Construction Design Engineer (CDE) Full-Time | Heavy Civil Construction | Ohio PE Required Join a respected heavy civil construction contractor where engineering excellence, innovation, and safety drive every project. We are seeking a Construction Design Engineer (CDE) to lead the development of all company-produced designs and PE-stamped submittals. This is an impactful, long-term role for a licensed engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to influence complex. This is a construction opportunity with Gpac in Erie, Erie County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
  • Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
  • Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
