About this role
Maintenance Tech - Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Systems This position is similar to HVAC but is not HVAC. We move air through various systems, but no heating or cooling is involved. Anybody who is in HVAC, Commercial refrigeration, or related services, please apply. This position will vary from evenings to overnights based on the service call, but is considered a third-shift role. Who Are We? We are modernizing the ways of Fire Protection, Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning, Grease Trap Services,. This is a HVAC opportunity with Nelbud in Elkridge, Howard County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
