About this role

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Certified HVAC Technician to provide technical support to our government customer located in Ft. Detrick, Maryland . DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: * Technician shall maintain technical competency of mechanical equipment, engineering principles, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and heating systems. * Receive assignment with a minimum of accompanying instructions concerning the work methods to be used. May work directly. This is a plumbing opportunity with Keaki Technologies in Hood College, Frederick County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.

  • Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
  • Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
  • Cut, thread, and solder pipe
  • Read plans and follow plumbing code
  • Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
