About this role
Monument Enterprises is seeking a talented Journeyman Carpenter in the metro area with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in commercial property maintenance. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, must be reliable and self-motivated, must have strong communication, must be well organized and must have knowledge of all facets of commercial carpentry, renovation & maintenance. This position includes 40 hour per week schedule. M-F and occassional weekends as nee. This is a carpentry opportunity with Monument Enterprises, LLC in Marlboro, Prince George's County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
