About this role
Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Carpenter worker assists in the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, renovation, remodeling and general upkeep in order to keep the facility functional and attractive to prospective customers. This person performs preventive maintenance work that could involve the use and operation of complex and highly technical equipment and techniques. The Carpenter exhibits sound decision-making skills, productivity and professionalism. Does. This is a carpentry opportunity with CARILLON HOTEL MANAGEMENT in Normandy Isle, Miami-Dade County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
