About this role
The Carpenter Foreman is responsible for working closely with the Superintendent to plan, organize, perform and oversee the work of the Carpenters as it relates to building, installing and repairing structures and other items using different types of materials including wood and steel. Responsibilities: Plans and performs standard to moderately complex carpentry tasks necessary to construct, erect, install, or repair structures such as door and wall frames; hardware, doors, casework. This is a carpentry opportunity with Hoar in Greensboro, Guilford County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
