About this role

The Carpenter works as part of a construction team to renovate and repair residential apartment buildings. Responsibilities include routine crafts tasks, as well as those associated with preventive maintenance, special repairs, capital construction and emergency/safety projects. The carpenter will be required to travel to multiple sites that are part of the CHA portfolio. This position will be paid according to the applicable Davis-Bacon wage determinatio. This is a carpentry opportunity with HHDC in Chicago, Cook County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
