Department: Facility Maintenance General Statement of Job The Carpenter performs all construction, carpentry and electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, , including days, nights, a few concrete variables in valid Texas driver' s license and extension ladders, roof hatch. This is a electrical opportunity with South Texas College in Mcallen, TX. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

What you'll do

  • Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
  • Assist licensed electricians as needed
