About this role

Maintenance Worker III class is an advanced journey level tradesman. This class is distinguished from the maintenance worker II by having greater responsibility, autonomy, and discretion in planning and completing a wide variety of maintenance and operational activities. Although the incumbent in this position has day-to-day responsibilities for assigned projects, this position differs from the Building Services Supervisor by the absence of overall responsibility for program and projec. This is a HVAC opportunity with Tyme Maidu Tribe in Las Plumas, Butte County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

What you'll do

  • Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
  • Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
  • Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
  • Communicate repairs clearly to customers
