Salary/Pay Rate: $34–$42 per hour $13 per hour toward insurance and retirement performance-based bonus Location: Charleston, WV (work sites typically within 90 minutes) Job/Employment Type: Full Time Project Scope: Commercial, Government, and Federal Heavy Civil Infrastructure Mandatory Licences & Ce. This is a carpentry opportunity with S.M.H. Construction Co., Inc. in Charleston, Charleston County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
What you'll do
- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
