About this role

Main Purpose: The Assembly supports the fabrication and assembly of enclosure components by performing basic welding, fit-up and mechanical assembly tasks. This role is also responsible for the safe and efficient production of enclosure frames, panels and subassemblies. Essential Functions: Perform structural welding on enclosure components by following drawings and trained procedures Perform basic mechanical assembly, including fitting panels, installing hardware and prepping comp. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Gulf Island in Bayou Blue, Terrebonne Parish. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

  • Cut and grind metal to spec
