About this role
Someone who works under the supervision of an experienced or licensed electrician while learning the electrical trade. Typical responsibilities include: Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems . Installing wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical components . Running and pulling electrical wires and conduit. Using hand and power tools safely. Assisting with troubleshooting electrical problems. Reading bas. This is a electrical opportunity with GDI Services Inc US in Southfield, Oakland County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
