About this role

Job Overview \n \n \nResponsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Welding Machines to ensure quality parts are produced and provided to the customer in a timely manner.\n \n A Day In The Life \n \n \n \n Operator will be required to set-up, adjust machines, and equipment in order to produce an acceptable quality product. \n Will receive instructions, prints, and route sheets for the job. Will organize and plan operational duties for the shift he/she is assigned. \n Pe. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Hubbell Incorporated in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

What you'll do

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
